Our new family.

We are all really enjoying the company of Girum and his brilliant smiles. He has learned to walk now, and can even bend over! He still eats as much as ever, and has only fefused the turkey dinner baby food thus far.

Girum and Wyatt really enjoy each other, and are often found laying on the love sacs together watching a BYU or Jazz basketball game (That is when Wyatt isn't lifting weights or working out with the lacrosse team.) Girum, we have learned, is a great mimicker. When watching sporting events with Wyatt, he will scream and wave his arms in unison with Wyatt (who knows though, maybe he is just a great athlete in training not just a cute mimicky baby!) Wyatt is always willing to lend a hand and help out with his favorite little guy.

Mariss is joy to us, and when she isn't swimming, can be found helping with our cute little guy. She will feed him, change his diaper, play toys with him, and even sneak around the house trying to steal the little guy away from her siblings. I know that our daughter will be on great mother someday.

Olivia is just a gem. She is always looking for people to befriend, and to cheer. She has a real talent for finding and keeping friends, as well as being just an all around fantastic little girl. When she's not doing gymnastics, she can be found playing house with Audrey or just chilling out with one of her friends.

Audrey, well, she's still sweet, loving, and well a little bit energetic to say the least. But we all love her nonetheless, and she always keeps us on our feet with her antics. Whether it be a "project" such as the tape sculptures she is often making, or it is just a race with her cousins after eating Wyatt's protein powder :-S , she is always the highlight of our house.

Keep checking back for more updates. Thanks.

He is so cute! I am still anxiously hoping for the time when we will have a new little one too. Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I'm sure you'll be hearing from me again once we get closer to adopting.

Beautiful Family! I hope we get the chance to meet you when we are in town sometime. Probably not until late summer since Mihiret is coming home in 3 WEEKS...and I am sure it will take a while for things to calm down. We can't keep her from her grandparents forever...so I am sure we will be there soon enough.

Shawn & Family, Just got this from your sister in New York. I found her on the internet and she finally wrote back. Glad to see all is well. Tell your MOM howdy from the Reich. We used to live on the corner of Medford drive and Lisa tended our kids when we were there. We've been in Texas 18 years so it's been a while. Great Blog. Troy & Christine Reich Rockwall, TX

Time and distance are such two-edged swords! We miss the family reunions where we could all catch up. Our first D&S reunion is coming up - the first week of july - ahhh, they're all coming here! Your blog is great. Loved reading a little about whatyou're up to. Aunt Deb
